EMPOWERING CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
I coach actors, writers, and directors from around the world to unlock their full creative potential and achieve their dreams. My clients have gone on to build thriving careers in film, television, and theater—landing recurring roles on hit series, writing for major studio productions, and directing high-profile projects now in pre-production. I’m passionate about empowering each person I work with, offering the guidance, encouragement, and tools they need to bring their vision to life and make a lasting impact in the industry.

ABOUT ME
JOCK MACDONALD
I am an actor, writer, director, and coach (acting, writing, and directing) with over 50 years of professional experience in the US, Canada, and Europe, and I coach actors around the world.
I have had guest-starring roles in numerous prime-time and daytime television shows, spanning both sitcoms and dramas. My film work includes over ten major roles in studio releases and independent films, as well as leading roles in regional theaters across the US and the lead in an award-winning Off-Broadway play.
Alongside my work as an actor, director, and writer, I have dedicated much of my career to coaching and teaching actors, writers, and directors—whether launching workshops in regional theaters, running ongoing professional programs, or teaching at universities. I have always felt a deep responsibility to share the craft and knowledge I’ve gained.
I hold a BA in Theatre from the University of Vermont and an MFA in Acting from Ohio University, along with diplomas in Television Acting from the Wiest-Barron School of Television and in Shakespeare and Comedy Acting from BADA, Balliol College, Oxford University.
